Northport Swings

Posted on 16 February 2010

Acclaimed flautist and granddaughter of one of Write On New Jersey’s most prolific authors performs with the Northport Middle School (Long Island) jazz band.  Sit back and enjoy the band’s rendition of the Clarence (Sonny) Henry classic, “Evil Ways,” made famous on Santana’s 1969 self-titled debut album.

Way to go Annie! from your proud grandparents, we Loved every bit of it.

  2. Karen says:

Annie Rocks! And so did we listening to that great band. When the instructor placed the mike closer to Annie the second time she played we could really hear her clearly with the sweet sounds of the flute.
We should also tell her how beautiful she is and grown up so very much since we last saw her.
We are very proud of Annie.
